Keeping it Simple :: Part 3

We're finishing our Keeping it Simple series this afternoon with some seriously cute and simple ideas!

Suzanne made some way cute cupcake toppers with some Duplicate Stickers, Ribbon and Candy Dots! What a great way to dress up a fun cake stand! (Oh...and if you look in the background, you'll spot a fun recipe card holder that's been dressed up with a little So Tweet paper!)





Liz is sharing a great idea for an ornament exchange: Take a clear glass ornament ball, stuff it with krinkled paper shred, punch out a 1 1/2 inch cardstock circle and apply the holiday sticker. Tie on a bow. Voila - ready for an ornament exchange! It can't get much easier! :)





Need a last minute idea for wrapping a gift card? Lynn made this super cute stocking gift card holder using paper from the So Tweet Collection--I love the stitching!

Emeline made this fun dimensional card using a variety of Pebbles papers...I'm seeing some Linnie Bell, Lil' Miss, So Tweet and Downtown all on this card! What a great way to use a little bit of everything! This would be a fun advent card!



I love a good grid! Christa limited herself to 30 minutes for this card and stuck to it! A grid is always a good place to start when you're not quite sure what to do! Such a cute card!



I've said this before, but I think I'll say it again! We have such a talented Design Team--everyone brings a different and unique style to the team, and I think that's what makes it so great! They are all so talented! We are giving our DT a little break from the Pebbles blog for the next two weeks, so we'll see you back here in January with Samantha hosting the blog!

Keeping it Simple :: Simple Layouts!

TGIF! We made it to Friday!

We're continuing on with our Keeping it Simple project ideas today!

Samantha used supplies that she had on hand to create this fun Layout using the Downtown and Linnie Bell Collections--who would've thought that these two lines went together so well??





Maureen limited herself to using numbers, three colors and 30 minutes and came up with this wonderfully simple LO!



Limiting herself to standard photo sizes, Akiko made this super fun Layout using the Lil' Buddy Collection! I love how the photos make a little puzzle and go along with the title of the page!



I love Gaëlle's style! This 8 x 11" LO was just made with paper and stickers and was completed in less than 20 minutes!



Lisa put together an awesome sketch and LO based on her sketch! Paper is from the Linnie Bell Collection and stickers are from the Lil' Buddy Collection. The LO is finished off with Candy Dots, Ribbon and Chips! Thanks for sharing such an awesome sketch, Lisa!





I love the journaling on Cherie's LO...it adds some fun, unexpected details! Paper is from the Linnie Bell Collection. (Have you noticed on the back of Pebbles papers the fun designs on the tear strips? I love them!)



Pam gave herself 30 minutes for this LO and stuck to it! She made this cute 8.5 x 11" LO as a gift for her mom--so sweet! I'm loving the Candy Dots along the top!



Don't you love the Lil' Buddy Collection? Ginnifer made this super cute layout and limited herself to just 3 things: paper, stickers and photos! What a perfect photo to use with this collection!



Deanna is finishing up today's Simple Layouts with this adorable LO! She combined Downtown, Linnie Bell and So Tweet Collections and added some fun Chips and Candy Dots to finish it off!

Keeping it Simple :: Part 1

We're kicking off our Keeping it Simple project and gift ideas today! The DT will be showing off their skills when it comes to keeping it simple over the next three days. The rules were to give yourself some restraints and come up with a project or holiday gift idea within those boundaries...simple, right? :)

Marielle made this joy picture frame in less than 15 minutes with items she had around the house! (I might need to make one of these to put on the fireplace mantle!) She used various pieces of Pebbles Chips, Ribbon and paper from the So Tweet Collection to make this fantastic project!



Using cute metal star ornaments she already had, Amy used some Mod Podge and various Pebbles papers to add a little more holiday fun to them--and it took less than 10 minutes! These would be perfect for a holiday ornament exchange!



In less than 15 minutes, Susan created this adorable gift card and box set! For the card, Susan cut paper to make a bas and then added Ribbon and a chipboard star to make the tree. For the gift card holder, Susan took a pre-made box and added paper to the front. Then she tied ribbon to the top. Super simple and perfect for little gifts!



Susan also created this super cute Christmas tree in less than 30 minutes! Instructions from Susan herself: take a premade form such as the one I got from Hobby Lobby. Tear strips of paper and dip them in gesso (or white paint). Glue to your form - working your way up. Next add chips to act as decoration and top with a chip star. There ya go! Instant tree!

Gift Week :: Day 5

We're wrapping up our fantastic week of Gift Ideas this afternoon! We hope that you've been inspired by some of the ideas we've shared over the last few days!

Sophia kicks our final day off with these cute and simple ornaments made from the Downtown and Linnie Bell Collections and embellished them with a fun butterfly punch!



Deanna altered this cute ceramic jar and note pad using paper and Ribbon. What a great idea to use things you already have around your home and dress them up a little more for a gift!



These cute tags are perfect for a non-traditional holiday color palette! Emeline used Skipping Along paper, Pebbles Chips and Pebbles Ribbon to create these fun and kinda funky tags--I think they'd be perfect on a gift that was wrapped with kraft paper!



One of my favorite gifts to give this time of year is a calendar! Maureen made this fun flip calendar and added places for notes, anniversaries, and other important dates to remember! Each month is made with a different collection--I love it! I wish I had a calendar like this next to my computer! (Hint-hint!)

Liz used some of our Duplicate Stickers to create this fun and festive Christmas card! What a great idea to pair them up with a little ribbon and buttons and make them into ornaments!

Samantha made this gift card holder using a metal box! My favorite part about this gift card holder is the wreath on the front made from chipboard shapes from our Pebbles Chips and dressed it up with some buttons and Ribbon! How cute! (Oh...and I wouldn't mind receiving a gift card to The Cheesecake Factory, either!)

Akiko made this cute card that is complete with an ornament tucked inside! I also love the non-traditional color palette for this Christmas card! What a fun idea to combine a card and ornament. Thanks Akiko!





Lisa makes these cute gift boxes for her children to give their friends at school each year! Each box only uses a 6 x 4" piece of paper, so they are perfect for small little treats! Simply dress them up with some ribbon, chipboard shapes and tag and they are ready to go!

Paper Bow Instructions

Lynn created this beautiful paper bow and gift box set using the So Tweet Collection and was kind enough to put together the step-by-step instructions for making a paper bow!



• Cut 8 strips of 1" x 6" patterned paper, 4 strips of 1" x 5" patterned paper, and 1 strip of 1" x 4" patterned paper. It's important to cut the 1" x 4" strip before you cut the 1" x 5" strips if using a single 6” x 12” sheet of paper.

• Take the 1" x 6" strips and put adhesive on one end of each strip and fold so the ends overlap and create a “petal”.

•Repeat this process with the 1" x 5" strips.

• Take the 1" x 4" strip and put adhesive on one end and fold to form a loop.

• Use a small hole punch to punch a whole at the bottom of each "petal".

• Use a brad and attach 4 1” x 6” “petals” together to form the base of the bow.

• Create another layer of the bow by staggering the next set of “petals” and so on.

• Attach the loop in the center of the bow with a glue dot.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! We had a few inches of snow fall here in Utah over night, so I'm feeling a little sluggish this morning (and kind of wishing I was at home with a cup of hot chocolate by the window watching the snow fall!), but hopefully all these gift ideas will get some creative juices flowing!

Friday Tip: All about stars

Just before the weekend starts I would love to share some star projects with you. Stars give me such a happy feeling. There are a lot of ways you can incorporate stars in your project.
Let's take a look at some of the examples the DT created.

Celeste Smith-Star Corkboard

Celeste bought a 4 pack of 12x12 corkboard at Staples for $5! She used a hot glue gun and adhered chipboard stars and shapes to tacks. Then she covered a chipboard star with patterned paper and cut her son's name out using the Silhouette. A Pebbles ribbon at the top to hang the board adds the perfect final touch.

Cherie Nymeyer- you rock

Cherie used star die cuts, star paper and stars in the "You Rock" title.

Deanna Kroll- my little shining star

Deanna used patterned paper with stars and some beautiful chipboard star shapes.

Liz Qualman- Happy Holidays Card

Liz made this card with the Pebbles Season's Greetings collection and some Pebbles Holiday rubons. Stars for the ultimate christmas cheer

Marielle LeBlanc - Play ball

Marielle cut the stars from the patterened paper, used star paper and star chipboard.

Suzanne Sergi - 7

Suzanne also used star paper to create this adorable card.

Mimi Leinbach - Giftbag
Mimi created this adorable giftbag and card with chipboard stars.

Maureen Blanc - Muisjes

Maureen created this adorable star layout with even stars in the picture. The food in the picture is a dutch tradition for birth. It's called "muisjes". When you gave birth to a boy the visiters get blue and white "muisjes".. and if you gave birth to a girl, then pink and white "muisjes".

Mireille Divjak - Toys for Boys.

I used my wishblade to cut stars from patterned paper. Added some chipboard stars and embroided a few stars as finishing touch.

I hope this will inspire you to use some stars in your next layouts.
