A note about our Design Team call ...
Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you an update on our Design Team call. I know many of you are probably wondering when acceptance emails will be sent and the new design team posted. We had intended to have our choices made by the end of July and the new team announced on the blog early next week. However, we've run into a few delays and are now looking to have our choices made by the end of next week (hopefully by August 7th) and the new team announced on the blog shortly after that. I want to apologize for the delay and thank you in advance for your patience and continued support of the Pebbles brand.

Design team member Suzanne Sergi created this amazing mini album using the Twitterpated collection. Seriously so many details to enjoy! Here's what Suzanne had to say ... "I have been wanting to create a small mini with the Twitterpated Collection. This past Valentine's Day I had a photo shoot with my children. I had taken a lot of photos and I wanted to tuck a few inside a small chipboard album. I love the colors of this collection, because they are a perfect palette for documenting those you love. From the paper to the brads, this collection is all you need to complete pages or an album. A few extra details make it extra special. This small mini sits on my scrapbook desk that serves two purposes: inspiration and a reminder of how lucky I am to be the Mother of three beautiful children."

Dear Pebbles
Happy Wednesday everyone! Can you believe the week is already half over - I feel like it has just flown by. We have some cards to share with you today on the Pebbles blog.
First up I (Lynn Ghahary) created this card using the rub ons from our Tree House collection. I used this adorable birdie image as the inspiration for my card. I simply adhered the rub on to some white cardstock, punched it out with a square scallop punch, and adhered it to a brown mat with dimensional adhesive. I also used another rub on for the "hi" sentiment. Easy peasy!
Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Melody (751030)
Tree House Fun (751035)
Tree House Rub Ons (735002)
Other supplies used:
Cardstock
Ribbon (Offray)
Button (Basic Grey)
Punches (EK Success)
Design team member Mirielle Divjak created this perfectly sweet note card using our equally sweet Twitterpated collection. Here's what Mireille had to say ... "I find it terribly hard to create cards. The truth is ... I am not a card person. I hardly ever make cards and I think this may be the third card I have made in my life! On the good side what I love so much about Pebbles rub ons and stickers is that they make life so much easier when it comes to card making ... especially if you're not too great with cards like me! ;)"

How To Tuesday
Hi everyone! We have another edition of "How To Tuesday" brought to you today by design team member Deanna Kroll. Deanna shows you how to create an altered oil reed jar. Now wouldn't that be just the perfect (and yummy smelling) addition to your craft space? Here's what Deanna had to say "I have a fun and easy project for you all to make. This is nice because you can use the oil reed jars, candle jars, or anything else that is made out of glass that is a decorative piece, like vases or even glasses."
First you will need to gather your supplies:
I decided to use a reed diffuser jar that I have from Party Lite candles. I just hate to throw away the used jars as they can be recycled nicely after the oils run out.
The first thing I did with this jar is decorate the wooden bottle neck. It's really a fun and easy way to add some personalization and the Pebbles Rub Ons go on very nicely and are easy to adhere. I started out by measuring the rub ons to see how well they would fit around the bottle neck. I had to use 2 different patterns for this. I cut them apart as shown in the photo in order to create a nice border around the bottle neck.
Next, line up your rub ons how you want them to appear on the bottle neck and hold them down with one hand as you adhere them to your object of choice as you can see I did here in this next photo.
As you are transferring the rub ons onto the wood with your popsicle stick or tool, make sure to slowly peel the plastic off to see if all the rub on has adhere. If not, gently place it back on the material (while still holding onto it with your fingers so that it doesn't come off completely and you lose your placement) and continue to rub until you have the rub ons transferred to the wood.
First you will need to gather your supplies:
- Rub Ons (I used the Tree House Rub Ons)
- Popsicle stick or tool to adhere your rub ons
- Glass jar (reed diffuser jar, candle holder jar, vase, etc)

Next you'll want to start the glass jar. This is the fun part because you can lay out the rub ons the way you want them to appear right onto the glass and see their placement. The rub ons lay out nicely on the jar and stick very easily. Once I lay everything out I leave them in place as I rub each of the individual rub ons until I am done.
As you see, it's an easy placement on your glassware. Transfer your rub ons onto the jar by rubbing them with your popsicle stick or rub on transfer tool and, again, slowly peel back the plastic to see if the rub ons transferred. If not, slowly lay the plastic back down on the jar and keep rubbing until you have the rub ons completely transferred.
That is all there is to it! A very quick and easy project that can take you less than 30 minutes to create. THe only thing left to do is fill up your reed diffuser jar or, if this is a gift, just include the oil and reeds for your gift recipient to add to the jar when they are ready to do so.
This is a great craft to make for gifts and a really nice way to personalize something for the person you are giving this to. As you see below, you can even add extra items to give to the recipient to make it complete.

Design team member Lisa Johnson used one of my all time favorite Pebbles collections Lil' Buddy on her adorable card. Here's what Lisa had to say ... "Pebble's adorable stickers make it easy to whip out a quick card. I'm able to have an instant focal point to work with! I'm in love with the Lil' Buddy line! It makes it so easy to create for boys (or men too!). Being a mom of all girls, this is a real treat for me as creating for boys usually comes into play for birthday parties that my girls are attending. Which usually means last minute cards for me!"
Pebbles supplies used:
Lil Buddy Blankie (50942)
Lil Buddy Bursts (50941)
Lil Buddy Bubba (50943)
Lil Buddy Baby Stickers (50948)

How To Tuesday
Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek of one of our newest releases Cats & Dogs yesterday. There will be more sneaks posted today so be sure to stop back here and check it out. In the meantime I wanted to share with you a tutorial from design team member Amy Sorro. Amy shows you how to make these adorable washer necklaces - I absolutely LOVE them! Here's what Amy had to say ... "These necklaces are a really fun and inexpensive summer project!"
First you will need to gather your supplies:
Next pick out your favorite Pebbles patterned papers. Small patterns work best with this project.
On the backside of the paper you chose trace the washer onto the paper with a pencil.
Use scissors or an Xacto knife to cut the paper.
Use your adhesive (I used double sided tape) to adhere the paper to the washer. Make a generous circle of diamond glaze on top of the paper. Use a skewer in a circular motion to spread the glaze around easily.
After the glaze dries you can use twine or nylon cord to make a necklace! You can also use colored beads to spice it up a little. These are so easy to make and may become addicting!
