Guest Designer: Danielle Flanders plus a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer Danielle Flanders.  Let's get to know Danielle a little better ...

Describe yourself in 3 words … quiet, sensitive, creative.

My guilty pleasure is … caffeine and chocolate.

You’ll never find me without … makeup on.

You might be surprised to know that I … have taught elementary school on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

My least favorite chore is … cleaning bathtubs.

I started scrapbooking in ... 1999.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... working with all of the fun, colorful products, expressing my creativity and creating lasting memories for my girls.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be ... the little flower brads. Love them so much!

Danielle created so many amazing projects for us including this stunning layout including a thank you note to her girls.  Here's what Danielle had to say ... "I love to write little love notes to my girls on my layouts. I know they are too young to read and appreciate them now, but hopefully when they are older and I'm gone, it will be something they can remember me by and feel how special they were to me. I feel so lucky to have them in my life. They have taught me a lot about just enjoying the little things in life and how thankful I am for everything. I know I'm not a perfect mom, but I do want them to know that they were extremely loved."

Here's what Danielle had to say about her next project ...""On this page, I was inspired by a canvas I saw on Pinterest that had painted trees/limbs with polka dots for the leaves. I have many outdoor photos of my girls, so I found some of my favorites and wanted to try painting a background for my layout. I love trying new techniques, and it was a really easy page to create!"

Danielle is such an amazing card maker and this one created with lots of Floral Lane goodies is no exception.  Here's what Danielle had to say ... "I love the layered embellishments, as they are already dimensional and are so easy to peel and stick them right onto a quick card. Here I've used the label-shaped one for the sentiment and two of the layered flowers to add a quick embellishment!"
