How To Tuesday

First things first, I have a winner to announce from last week's "Guest Designer" giveaway. Thank you all so much for your comments. And the lucky winner is ...

Congratulations! Please email your full name and mailing information (including your phone number for shipping purposes) as well as your choice of current Pebbles collection to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put "Guest Designer Winner" in the subject line.

Design team member Mimi Leinbach shares a fun technique today for using those adorable Pebbles stamps with acrylic!  Here's what Mimi had to say ... "Pebbles has such awesome pre-made embellishments - that is one of the things that puts them head and shoulders above other companies - but sometimes you just want to get your hands dirty! Here is a simple and fun technique that just may fill that bill!"

First, gather the products you will need.

Next stamp your image on an acrylic inchie - some drying time may be needed.  I also edged each inchie with ink to create a framed look.

Repeat this process on several inchies and embellish with Stickles.  Here are a few examples ...

Finally, embellish your layout with the decorated inchies.

This is a super simple technique that really adds a unique and creative flair to your art. A little bit of ink on the edge of each tile added a frame to each piece which flowed well with the grid design of my layout! And if you didn't notice ... the Floral Lane release is textured like cardstock - can I say brilliant?! LOVE IT!!!
