I have a wonderful group of 7 friends from highschool...and I'm now 56...and we still share each others joys and unfortunately sorrows as we did this week!! I love them all!!

I have been very lucky when it comes to friends. My best friend from college is someone I can talk to any time of my life and can trust her to give me right advice on anything under the sun. I love the fact that even after being married and settled in our individual lives, we still manage to keep in touch and we never feel that we haven't seen each other for months :)

My closest friend is my hubby...but after that...I would say my mom. I call her everyday, and tell her everything. She is always there for me, and gives advice (even though I sometimes don't like her advice...lol).

One of my closest friends actually lives over 7 hours away. She was there for me in a time in my life that I felt very alone and since then, we've been as close as can be! We text nearly every day and try to see each other a couple of times a year. It's hard not to see her more but knowing she's got my back is just amazing. ;)

One of my closest friends just lives a block away. You would think we would see each other all the time but we have such busy lives, sometimes we will go a month or so before we can get together but we talk, email or text each other VERY OFTEN!!!

My best friend from high school, whom I've known since I was 6, introduced me to my husband while I was visiting her at college. Almost 3 years later, she was visiting us and we introduced her to my husband's brother. We have now been sister-in-laws for almost 7 years!

I have lots of friends--I love each one. But my BF is the most amazing and most fabulous friend EVER! She is Godly and sensitive, as well as kind, gentle, loving, forgiving, and wise! LOVE her!!!! Sad thing is that she is moving four states away in three days! I will miss her TERRIBLY!!!

One of my closest friends lives about 6 hours away from me. Recently her youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3-1/2. She is doing her best to keep her spirits up. To help her and her family out (even though we can't help directly, we've been doing various fundraising activities in our area with friends and family to help her out! I wish I was closer to her so that I could just give her a big hug. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is on their family, but you do what you have to do to cope. Love you Tricia

My closest friend actually lives in NYC and is coming to visit me in two weeks!! I am so excited that she will be able to come and stay with me for four days. I better have plenty of diet coke and lime ready cause that is what she loves.

My best girl friend lives very far away but we have managed to keep in touch for the last 20 years writing to each other. Since there wasn't email when we first moved apart we sent mail the old fashioned way. We had great fun adding stickers and doodles to the envelopes. Now of course we keep up via email & facebook but we both still treasure the occasional hand written letter.
I love today´s projects!! I have a group of school friends yet and we meet at least once a year!

My closest friend is my hubby. There's nothing that I can't share with him. Next to him would be a group of guy friends I have since high school.
My two closest friends have stuck with me through the restrictions and difficulties of my long-term illness. We can go for weeks without talking on the phone, but whenever we talk, we can just pick up where we left off. I would say that I admire them most for their selflessness and generous spirits.
I'm excited to have girls night tomorrow with my friends. We going out to see Harry Potter in 3D after our kiddos are asleep :)

I know this is cheesy...but my Mom is my Best Friend. I do have lots of close friends, but she is the one that is ALWAYS there when I need her. She is my baby sitter, my errand runner, my chit-chatter, my laugh when I need it, my shoulder to cry on and the first person I call when something fantastic happens. She is my Mom, but even more than that, she is my friend. I love that. I love her.

Anna mentions the word connection, isn't that fabulous at even a young age, these 2 girls have a connection...I believe that we women can always connect with other women...it's something we can just do, like multi-tasking:) I'm so fortunate that I have different connections with my closest friends...we all have each other's backs...and support one another.
My two closest friends and I just graduated high school together this past June, and it was super sad since this coming up school year will be the first time we're apart for 13 years.
