Design team member Valerie Mangan lifted team mate Laura Craigie. Here's what Val had to say ... "I'm a huge fan of Laura Craigie and was instantly drawn to this layout. I love the blocks of pattern on the background, the linear design, the bright color and the white space. Her design was easily adapted into a 12 x 12 format. I used a strip of 3 vertical photos across the lower third, maintaining the white space at the top. I didn't stray far from Laura's design and placed my embellishments in a similar fashion for balance. Thanks for the inspiration Laura!"

Design team member Jill Cornell was inspired by a recent tutorial from fellow team member Christa Paustenbaugh. Here's what Jill had to say ... "I was very inspired by Christa Paustenbaugh's layout she created for a recent "How-To Tuesday" blog post in January. I loved the butterfly shape that she made using her Silhouette and patterned paper strips. I created this two-page layout using the same technique on my apple. I selected patterned papers with red in them so that I had a monochromatic look to help the apple blend more into the page design. Because the apple was a central part of the design, I kept the rest of my layout fairly simple with minimal embellishments."
