More What I Did This Summer Projects with Wendy Sue

"For this week’s summer theme, I thought I’d share a page I created about the very first day of our summer vacation.  I took the kids to a local park where we had a picnic lunch and played on the playground for a while.   As we were leaving they found this bar near the skate park and decided to play on it … I thought it was a great way to record the day – since we were just “hangin’ out” together – which is how we spent many of our days over the summer. My kids were dressed in some pretty colorful clothing and I just loved how their shirts all coordinated with the colors in the Sunnyside collection.  I loved mixing and matching the patterned papers for the background.  I cut the banner strips from the 6x6 pad and layered them around the title.  And I disassembled one of the “smile” clothespins so it would be a little less bulky and tied a bow around it."  - Wendy Sue Anderson, Pebbles Design Team Member
