How To Tuesday
"I have a friend who moved into a new house recently so I decided to make her a house warming card and gift. I created a pocket card using papers from the Family Ties collection." - Kim Jeffress, Pebbles Design Team Member
To begin, cut a sheet of Oregano cardstock 12" x 3".
Score the card at 1" and 6" and fold.
Use your bone folder to crease the folds so they are nice and crisp.
From the 6 x 6 paper pad choose two coordinating papers and cut them 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (floral) and 2 3/4" x 3/4"(stripe).
Choose a card from the Quotes and Phrases pad.
Trim around the dotted lines of the family card.
Place double sided tape along the two long sides as shown and adhere together.
Also place adhesive on the underside of the 1 inch flap and adhere down.
Glue the patterned paper onto the front of the card, add foam tape to the family card and adhere to the center of the card.
Create a pull out card by trimming a piece of pattern paper to 2 1/2" x 4", add a dimensional sticker as a pull out tab.
I also created a quick tag for the gift by cutting a strip from the 6 x 6 paper pad, trimming the top two corners, punching a hole and adding ribbon.
