Theme: Scraplift a Design Team Member

Happy Monday everyone!  This week on the Pebbles blog it's all about scraplifting!  What is "scraplifting" you ask?  Scraplifting is the the act of "lifting" or copying ideas and/or designs from another person’s scrapbook page to use in your own pages.  Designs or ideas can be copied in whole or in part.  And most importantly be sure to give credit where credit is due.  If you do "lift" someone else's idea be sure to mention where the idea originated.  I've asked some of our design team members to "scraplift" their fellow teammates.

Patty's Original Project

Emily's "Scraplifted" Project

"I chose Patricia’s non-traditional holiday layout to scraplift. I loved her look of big horizontal strips of patterned paper along the top of the layout.  When I began my project, I had basically flipped her layout upside down, with my photos in the upper right-hand corner, but the more I pushed my papers and pictures around, the less it looked like the actual layout!!  The final result is fairly different than the original, but my original inspiration of the broad horizontal strips of paper remains!"  - Emily Spahn, Pebbles Design Team Member
